Data Entry Jobs: Eligibility, Roles and Responsibilities

Data entry is the process of entering information/data on a computer by using word processing or data processing software. It’s the duty of the data entry operators to perform these tasks. Though many consider data entry jobs as technical, yet these jobs are available for even un-trained, non-experienced people as well. There is a large range of data entry jobs in Singapore taken up by students or fresh graduates as part-time or work from home jobs.

Candidates are also required to have knowledge of software programs such as Microsoft Office, though it is not mandatory in all organizations. Some companies in Singapore hire candidates without any computer knowledge or experience. Most of the job skills in data entry are taken up hands-on or while on the job.
