How to source on the lesser known Site!! Code Google Achieves!!

The Google Code Archive contains the data found on the Google Code Project Hosting Service, which

was turned down in early 2016. However few recruiters know about it or how to source from it.

Well to do this without you need go no further than into your bag of tricks and pull out an old tried and

true tool, called x-raying.

So, to source within Google Code Archive you simply need to create an x-ray string, like the one below.

site:code.google.com/archive/p/ java "gmail.com"

If you run the strings above in google you will get the results below.

click on author and there’s their info. Then use your social detective skills and you are set.

If you need more info on X-raying see my blog post http://www.recruitingblogs.com/profiles/blogs/seeing-what-is-really...

Until next week may the source be with you!!
