How do you use Twitter Lists?

I've heard a few people mention how handy Twitter Lists are for recruitment.

I have been experimenting a little but I'm really new to Twitter and was wondering if you guys might be able to provide some inspiration?

HI, I use them to sort my contacts so that when I have a message to go out it goes to the correct audience.  It also helps in sorting the input information I receive to make sure that I have the appropriate sectors I recruit in broken out.
