The first thing that stands out to me is the word "permanent"

Being that most of us operate in an "employment-at-will" arrangement, referring to a job as "permanent" contradicts typical at-will language. Not to mention, there really is no such thing as a permanent job.

The next, even more alarming phrase, is the first question related to status. Rather than informing any potential applicants of standard US employment eligibility verification procedures, this recruiter wants to know actual citizenship status. Here's a hint from EEOC about why that may not be an advisable query http://www.eeoc.gov/laws/practices/inquiries_citizenship.cfm

The remaining questions are awkward at best or premature to ask before actually determining a preliminary interest between an applicant and the search firm. Obviously anyone that responds to this would be interested in a new position and would probably be prepared to discuss start date, compensation, location, and any other information according to the typical expectations of an initial phone screen.

If I were a senior level HR person receiving this, I wouldn't be too impressed with this recruiter's approach or this search firm's methods. And as a hiring company I wouldn't want to be associated with them at all in the context of recruiting an HR leader. How about you?

How do you find candidates that are willing to work on a 100 percent commission?
What if the job you are trying to fill requires strong sales skills, an outgoing personality, strong motivation, ability to take lots of rejection, self initiative, and the ability to wait three-six months before this new hire will receive their first commission check oh AND by the way they have to pay fees of about $300 per month to have this opportunity.

You will be partnering with me in this role with full cycle recruitment, we will split up the openings by geographic markets. These jobs are fairly easy to fill using LinkedIn, HotJobs, and occasional direct cold calling. Its almost more of a recruitment coordinator role but you will need to interact with hiring managers to help re-write job descriptions and narrow down the job spec requirements.

Pay is a fixed weekly amount on a 1099 hourly so you do get all paid holidays and some paid vacation days. The corporate office is in a rural location so salary expectations are not close to big city levels of a few years ago, but are competitive for someone with 3-5 years experience and in this economy this is a nice steady job with a growing company where you can work from home putting in the 40 hours whenever you want.

Must have experience with corporate recruiting.
Strongly prefer healthcare recruiting experience
Strongly prefer experience being a part of an HR recruitment team
Agency recruiting experience a plus
Social Media experience a big plus
First preference will be given to applicants with Nursing recruiting experience.
Bonus points if you know what a SNF or LTAC is? lol

To apply please forward me your resume to me Greig@befoundjobs.com
As Recruiters and Human Resource Professionals, we are expected to get to the center of any matter quickly, using discernment and the revelatory gear that coincides with this thing we embrace as our work, livelihood, position, job, security, employment, and career. This "discernment" is what makes us successful recruiting professionals. The abilities to assess a situation, comb through data, and translate tone of voice are a few of the capabilities that leads to success in our chosen field.

There are those that have trained for years, attended courses, and have successfully navigated degree programs to find their place in Human Resources. Others fell into this career by sheer accident or mere coincidence. Whatever or whoever brought you here, the opportunity to build more than an occupation is encouraged in this field of endeavor most know and love. Some cite the ability to change lives, while others just want to make a difference as reasons for their success. Most recognize that there is opportunity for significant financial gain and steady income when recruitments are brought to successful closes and lasting relationships established.

Think about this, what is it about YOU that drives your success? That makes you a great recruiter? What is the reason your team gets the job done? Recruiter HeadSpace will explore these questions and disclose secrets of accomplishment that just might work for you!
“Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep on saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing, it is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary, if I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have it at the beginning.” Mahatma Gandhi Anyone seeking a Marketing Executive in Southern California?tag:recruitingblogs.com,2008-06-09:502551:Topic:1489222008-06-09T16:39:24.044ZKaren Swimhttps://recruitingblogs.com/profile/KarenSwim
