Hey everyone -

I have a hypothetical I'd like to ask. If tomorrow suddenly you had the budget to buy into any software/technology to help you in the recruitment process, what would you pick?

an ATS, CRM, Assessments, money on your Employer branding, Job marketing, video interviewing, an analytics package, a combination of products, etc.

Would really love to hear what you all have to say.

Thanks!

Favorite new sourcing or recruiting tools?tag:recruitingblogs.com,2015-01-16:502551:Topic:18577712015-01-16T16:06:20.929ZKatrina Kibbenhttps://recruitingblogs.com/profile/KatrinaKibben

It's that simple - what are your favorite free / low cost new (or new in the last 6 months) tools you're using to source and recruit?

You can't work at the company you're recommending - these should be unsolicited. I plan on using the ideas for an ebook like this one that was solely focused on sourcing (if you haven't seen it, you can find it here).

My Talent Finder runs out in a couple of days. I couldn't locate a cheaper account. There used to be a Business Plan and Business Plus plan but can't seem to find it. Does anyone know what is the best plan to reach out to more than just 100 people at a time. The Business plan looked OK at about $25/mo. but just can't seem to locate it anymore

I recently started using an application called Calltrunk. Let's just say that there's always room for improvement as a recruiter in an ever-evolving industry. Each call that I place (land-line, mobile, or Skype) through Calltrunk is recorded, and immediately stored in the cloud for instant review.

I recently started using an application called Calltrunk. Let's just say that there's always room for improvement as a recruiter in an ever-evolving industry. Each call that I place (land-line, mobile, or Skype) through Calltrunk is recorded, and immediately stored in the cloud for instant review.

This application uses voice recognition software to create a searchable record for all of your phone calls. So, if for example, you had a client that spits out job order specs at 50 miles a minute, you can type any of those keywords into the Calltrunk search engine - called ARGO search - and locate exactly where those words were spoken in the recorder timeline. (See illustration below)

www.calltrunk.com/us/en/

I can't tell you how invaluable this function is to help close both clients AND candidates. We all know how important it is to use words as selling tools when closing, and having the exact spoken words of every prospect makes our chosen words all that much more effective.

You can find Calltrunk in your app store, and download the free app as well. No credit card needed, no hidden charges, no obligation. They're offering 90 minutes of free call recording time on any land-line, mobile, and/or Skype.

Their new ARGO search tool was even featured in the Wall Street Journal. They are currently integrated into SugarCRM software (which is what I'm currently using) and Calltrunk is in the process of developing integrations with other CRM'S as well, and it will feature a click-to-call capability.

Wait...Never dial a phone again AND have my calls recorded and searchable???

It's the future of recruiting, and it's already here!

Do you? How are you? and What are your thoughts on? Using Domain names to attract candidates as part of your recruiting strategy... I've got a boat load of domains myself and I know a few others on RBC do as well. I am interested to read what others are doing with this?

What I've done with success:

Job sites specific to the domain and ONLY using my jobs but requiring the prospect to register to get access.

Using the domain simply as a forwarding address to clients or internal career sites

Forwarding back to my LinkedIn profile OR one of the groups I run on LinkedIn specific to the client etc.
