Hi There Ryan,

My organisation KPMG gave it a go and had some interestiing experiences. During virtual interviews one of the candidates took their clothes off and sat there naked, in another one a gun was pointed at the interviewers head. So we tried it and figured its not really with our brand!

We are doing some online career fairs though. They seem to be working well.

Elise.
I attended one of the Second Life job fairs as a job seeker - both (I think only two have been done as of today) seemed interesting, but the ROI looked questionable since they were pretty pricey.
Great PR - just wouldn't bet on the bang for buck... yet.
HI Ryan, I did some research on this over at born, so you might find the following items useful (although bare in mind they are mainly my take on the events I've attended in Second Life):

1. An audio review of a seminar conducted in Second Life (http://www.bornpodcast.com/shownote.php?sn=156&ep=19) - lacks recruitment focus, you might want to skip this one.
2. An audio review of TMP's UK job fair - this is a walk through of a job fair and includes some time I spent 'in world' with Phil Owers, Deputy MD of TMP (http://www.bornpodcast.com/shownote.php?sn=231&ep=30). This is likely to be very relevant as it's recruitment focused. I spoke to job seekers as well to see how they found the event.
3. A blog post and YouTube video walking you though how TMP had setup their job fair. It also includes a few comments on what, in my opinion, the environment offers recruiters. (http://www.bornpodcast.com/blog/?p=32)

I hope these help!
