Thanks for the feedback. I guess, being a techie, I am used to a 100% success rate (that is, if my stuff didn't work perfectly, it wasn't done!), so the touchy-feely interpersonal aspect is difficult for me to fully grasp at this point. :)<br />

I use networking tools like Linked in,Xing,Plaxo,Monster Network as "hook" for networking.<br />
<br />
Being a third party recruiter and having restrictions about disclosing client details, its difficult to get good % of network contacts.<br />
<br />
According to me, 5% favorable response is a good percentage.I have observed that out of 100 e-mail I could get 2 relevant contacts.<br />
<br />
Also, to build a good network you need to keep in touch with every contact and reply every e-mail you receive as a respond.…
