I've found 123people.com useful, but there are a few other tools that i prefer to use. Wink.com allows you to search numerous networking sites at one time. Yahoo! also has the unique ability to limit your search to personal web pages by adding feature:homepage to the search string. It is designed to search for URLs with a tilda(~) in them that set up like personal web pages, similar to when universities allow students to create their own web pages on the schools server.
