I always wondered if a Headhunter with a christian or any other faith background find themselves questioning their morals when pursuing a high profile candidate using unethical headhunting techniques like 'lying through their teeth' when getting past the gatekeeper and then subsequently probing the company until you find your target?

What are your thoughts...is headhunting ethical?

Please God, let this thread die and never come back. And i'm not lying!
You would think with all the brilliant minds around here we could come up with something that hasn't been beat(en) to death.

Tennis anyone?
Amen, Jerry (no pun intended)...this has been going on way too long, can we swing by the bar after tennis?
As a card carrying member of Da Syndicate (versus the dreaded FOKs - say it out loud), I must add that plumbing is only ethical if you hire union members. Don't for a moment think that just anyone can pull off having a world-class plumber's butt...

Or we can change it to, "Is plumbing ethical if you are God fearing, law abiding, truth telling plumber? Or better yet. Do plumbers believe in God after working in poop all day? short answer, Shit no!
Is plumbing ethical, it all depends on how backed up you are...
Personally I do my own plumbing.
Steve a union for recruiters is a great idea!
You can be the Jimmy Hoffa of ERE, just watch your back!
So what you're saying is that if you're really backed up, you're gonna get it in the end, right? As far as a union for recruiters, I can think of a few folks to bury under the RBC offices...

Hi Steve;
I was backed up butt not anymore.
A Union type sur-group within RBC does have potential and can be a branding machine for ethics and competencies for its members.
Currently it reminds me of an open source community where folks not only utilize various tools/knowledge yet contribute to/Author as well...
Doesn't matter - the answer is always the same...

I forgot the question....
Sorry my Texas flower but it's also referred to as "PB" and by the way, crack kills. I like the acronyms but what would the FOKs say???

WELL (caps for emphasis)...........Let me take issue Steve, it'a ain't plumber's butt, it's plumber's crack unless of course in New York they show their whole butt. Don't you dare MIS INTREPRETATE my thought process. Could we call the union the ROTO ROOTERS. Recruiters of Truth Overall. Recruiters Opposed Overall To Ethics Regurgitated Somemore?
and one more thing...

Is it safe in here yet? Has it finally ended? Has the goldfish finally jumped out the bowl?

Can we all start reading it again safe in the knowledge that we can all do what we like without being told how to do everything?

Halle - bloody - luiah.

Love the cartoon Steve.
ahhh, I remember the days when it was such a little thread, full of hope and promise. It seems like a lifetime ago, the bandwagon was empty, spleens yet to be vented.

And look at it now, 6 months later, thousands of letters typed in anger, defense, sarcasm, tangents.... and it's still growing.

This could become the "Bold and the Beautiful" of RBC. Never ending, with story lines changing marginally over the years...
