Thanks for your comments; I agree that so many LI groups are full of junk job posts and "open networkers" posts that do not belong there. There are certain reasons why this happened. Thanks for your comments; I agree that so many LI groups are full of junk job posts and "open networkers" posts that do not belong there. There are certain reasons why this happened. Yes, it's ugly, but it is the reality of the groups. (I'm so glad to keep the "Boolean Strings" free of this and on topic, yet I had to ask several people to delete their irrelevant posts.) However, as you said too, job postings <i>are</i> relevant to some groups (such as some SAP-related groups I'm a member of). We got a number of very relevant resumes in response to posts on the SAP groups. By the way the response to job posts on LI for us has been low and mostly irrelevant.<br />
