I am excited about my future in recruiting. I have come a long way from working in a hospital setting - reviewing applicants for our fellowship program, getting them reviewed by the faculty that I worked for - setting up interviews and making spreadsheet ranking the applicants. The best part was the gratitude of the applicants, who were so appreciative of the extra care I put into the interview process.

The world of recruting is expanding - moving faster than ever before. Thanks to the internet, the possibilities are endless. My boss is a true believer, and I am too, that now more than ever recruiting is equal parts of knowing your client, knowing your applicant and a whole lot of psychology!

Thanks to internet networking (like recruitingblogs.com) learning from those who have gone before me - is easier than ever. A lifetime of experience at my finger tips. Of course the degree in Psychology that I am working on helps too!

National job boards excite me but there is nothing like good old fashion face to face meetings - getting to know the clients you are working with - linking them up with highly skilled job seekers who will blend together like a marriage made in heaven.

My future in recruiting is exciting and never ending!
