Although I replied to mentioned post saying it's not only considered unethical but also illegal to charge people for job leads (over here that is), you post made me realize that there might be a legitimate concept in selling job openings in general (to interested agencies / recruiters having a hard time etc.). I for one would be interested, since I invest a lot (LOT) of time and energy in digging up suitable job openings for my candidates in base, trying to figure out the company behind those…

I for one would be interested, since I invest a lot (LOT) of time and energy in digging up suitable job openings for my candidates in base, trying to figure out the company behind those openings (posted through other agencies), then digging up name and number of the specific contact etc. etc. etc. If I could skip those first steps and immediately go down a whole list including names and numbers....hm.<br />

But I'm still not fond (to say the least) of charging individual, unemployed job seekers.
