General description:

• Responsible for the care of her own inpatients & outpatients.
• Perform prenatal and postnatal care; performs US follow–up for pregnancies & can do deliveries in maternity cases.
• Treats diseases and injuries of female reproductive system by surgical & laparoscopic procedures
Required Qualifications:
Education
• Graduate of an Accredited Medical School.

• Special knowledge and skill in the design and surgery of grafts, flaps and re-implantation is necessary with competence in the management of complex wounds, the use of implantable materials.

Head Nurse
Department : Medical Operation

General description:
• Direct and supervises the Administrative and Nursing activities of a Nursing Unit/ward.
• Monitors the quality of Nursing Care given in the unit and ensures the staff development activities orientation, in-services, continuing education of all employees in the Unit.
• Assigns duties, tasks, assures scheduling and supervises all Nursing Personnel in the performance of patient care activities. Completes all required documentation to include: personnel records, patient care plans and medical records, documentation required by other departments.
• Participate actively in training and education programs for Saudi Arabian trainees.
• Participates actively in the development of all areas of nursing practice in accordance with established and accepted Nursing Standards preferably JCIA.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
FOR WESTERN HEAD NURSE
• Education must be a BSN / Diploma or RN from the country of origin e.g. USA/Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Western Europe. South Africa, Malaya or other countries meeting a western nursing standard with a minimum of 2 years as Head Nurse in an acute care facility not less than 100 beds.
FOR NON-WESTERN HEAD NURSE from:
• Philippines, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, India - require a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or preferably master degree in science of nursing
• valid state license and five years experience as a Registered Nurse in a short term acute-care hospital,
• Three (3) years of which must be at the Head Nurse level in similar position at hospital not less than 200 bed capacity.
Experience
• Has three years supervisory experience in similar position experience at a hospital of 200 beds or more.
