There are many great ATS offerings to choose from and the best one for you and your company depends upon your needs and budget. We currently use CATS. It is web based and very functional! It is the most cost effective tool I have used in the 22 years I have been in the business. They have a "free" version that will provide basic functions and the professional version is just $28.00 per user. They are constantly adding features and it is very very customizable. Check them out at http://www.catsone.com/index.php?cap=ABC907
and yes...if you do sign up I get a little spiff but that is not the reason I am promoting this tool. I am very happy with it and use it daily. Let me know what you think.
If you use online job sites you could try having a look at Broadbean Technology's ADCOURIER V4, which offers a very advanced applicant tracking reporting suite, and is currently being integrated with Bullhorn . It's also integrated with Bond Adapt and offers a range of other tools too.
I do not and have not ever worked for an ATS.
A Recruiter of 11+ years.
My two favorites are the one I use, SendOuts, and JobDig Tracker.

I have been a happy SendOuts customer for 5 or 7 years. Whatever it has been.

JobDig Tracker is built by a Minneapolis company I am close to and know the product well. I have not switched because I am an old dog and hate learning new tricks.
Hi Denise,

I'll start off by admitting that I'm obviously bias being an AE at BULLHORN however, I'm also a former Recruiter from RHI who ran a desk for 5 years and have used many systems in the past. I'm confident a discussion about BULLORN is time extremely well spent.
I would highly recommend LongJump. It is an OnDemand SaaS webased Sales Force Automation system that can be very easily customized to become a great ATS. My company has 5 divisions and one of them implements LongJump, so I can introduce you to someone that can explain it to you further. I was tasked to find an ATS for our small consulting practice of recruiters, and had a tiny budget. I was tasked to find an ATS for our small consulting practice of recruiters, and had a tiny budget. We found Longjump to be the least expensive and most comprehensive without being so full of bells and whistles that it becomes too complicated to easily use. We've been using it for 6 months now and we all love it. It's very reasonably priced!
