Top qualities: Great Results, Personable, High Integrity

“I have had the pleasure of working with John on a number of recruiting engagements and he is known among my team as "the guy who can get it done". John loves a challenge and has great success finding the needle in a hay stack candidates that other recruiters have given up on trying to find. John builds strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers that make him a true partner in the process ensuring a high touch experience on both sides. For anyone considering Johns work on a recruiting project, you won’t have to worry about him -- just point John in the direction you want him to go in and it will get done.”

If you can find the right people for the right jobs, I have found that very little is out of your reach.

I'm in search of a website or training software that could possibly train people on how to become better recruiters. Things like how to screen through resumes to find the perfect candidates for job orders and how to interview a candidate the right way no matter what industry they are looking to apply to. Please feel free to send me a message or post something to my page so that I can read it. I'm trying to get this information for a friend that wants to go into business with me and she doesn't really have that much recruiting experience.

Thanks everyone for your assistance.

When I'm in recruiting mode (sadly it seems, it's all the time), I look at everything with an eye towards talent. Maybe because I cut my teeth as an engineer, I believe that structure always begats function. So when I;m reading the Financial Times in the morning over coffee, I'm reading articles with a question sitting on my shoulder - How does this relate to recruiting? IMO, everything relates to recruiting; it may take a few more shovels to uncover the relationship but in time I make the connection.

More to come...

Great group idea Dan.

I am always looking for inspiration. This is a tough gig, to get yourself up everyday. Why do we do it? Is there something wrong with us? What makes us get out of bed everyday and get to work to make the difference we do, when sometimes we are the only ones who see this difference
