That is according to a poll conducted by senior and executive-level financial recruitment specialist Reed Finance, which also found that two thirds (62 per cent) feel the measures outlined in the budget will affect them positively.

Commenting on the research, Tim Vye, operations director of Reed Finance, revealed that seven out of ten businesses are of the opinion that that the increase in VAT will actually have a negative effect on their operations.
