Well, I hope there will be more. Maybe you should write about it to spread the word. It's a great giveaway and there surely must be more people willing to share.
Hey Animal - Great show today. Thanks for bringing up a very important topic that I think is often overlooked. In my opinion, being able to influence and coach candidates about counter offers differentiates an ok recruiter from a super-recruiter.
wow..someone was actually reading my ERE blog??? Who knew?
I loved blogging, but admittedly couldn't keep up with the other bloggers like Steve Levy and Michael Homula who were blogging 24/7 at the time. So I bowed out. I hope to start one up again soon..and this new forum is just the ticket. More to come.....
I just received a message on my wall from this so-called "recruiting animal" critiquing my personal hygeine and my shaving practices.
My retort is simple, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Okay, I'm not married, no kids, non-practising scientist, and make my day speed by with Dr. Phil on the TV while I recruit.
#2 - #1 ended 12 years ago different criteria this time more mature in selecting someone with similiar core values (beauty is a + though). She is from Sri Lanka, so a different culture which has been overall a positive learning experience. Dating for 2.5 years now.

I'm a newbie. I've been paying very close attention to the recruiting blogosphere while building TalentSpring. I've been talking to a lot of recruiters and candidates while in stealth mode, but it's now nice to get a lot more active in the community.
> Hey I've got an idea for a coffee shop. It's a surefire hit.
A coffee company across town stole my name for their company and I'm still sore about it. ;-) I used to own starbucks.org until they took it away. I have a funny story about that too. They took my name, twice...
