Hi slouch! I was just informed this morning that I am going to be laid off due to my current company losing a big client. This client has laid off over 4000 employees Nationwide and since I am the newest member to the team, of course I am the first to go. Would you have any suggestions for me how I can Network with other members and connect with them about potential job opportunities? I appreciate any assistance you can provide.
I am new to recruitngblogs and have a few questions. I can not upload a picture of myself. Is there another page to do this on? When i click on "Change My Photo" there is no link to do this. When i try to choose a theme, it does not change. Any suggestions? Thanks for setting this up...pretty cool once I figure it all out.
Slouch. I played around with various file formats and for some reason it won't upload divx format, but you can copy the embedded html code for a divx file, paste it, and it will work. I would imagine same would apply for veoh type files. Not entirely sure on how to fix the upload issue.
Slouch, how's it going? Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I admire what you're doing and commend you on creating such a compelling personal brand within the recruiting space.
You're doing what some would call "big thangs" - keep up the good work.
Josh

If you get a chance, you can give us a new plug for our latest Marketing to HR eBook. Drop me an email at kgrossman@hrmarketer.com and I'll send you a copy. Thank you!
Thanks, Slouch. I like your site. An acquaintance of mine from Microsoft joined the other day. That person already participated in a forum. I am signing up friends and this is very cool.
I've tried a dozen times to get rid of this photo and replace it with another jpg. I keep getting error messages saying I need to replace it with a jpg. Ok, I know that. Can you override this to get rid of this unwanted photo??
I was great to finally see you. I had a blast and would do it again in a heartbeat. for now, I'm reading up on how to play to join you next time at the table.
It was great meeting you tonight at the RecruitingBlogs.com Dallas Networking Pub Night. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing all the great recruiting/networking stories. I wish you great success with RecruitingBlogs.com.
Regards,
Brent
I would just like to thank you for this wonderful networking site. I have been a recruiter for a year now and have been looking for a support and networking place. I have found so many places with very beneficial information all stemming from here. Again, THANK YOU!!!!!
Hi Slouch! Loved Sugar's video! I wish I had two newfs. Two sounds like a lot of fun!
Slouch, I went into the main page for the first time and noticed that you have a little link there about my "style." Gosh, I'm flattered and I'm humbled. Thank you for the plug. I appreciate it very much. A big slobbery kiss from Arnold and a little newfy haiku:
My gentle giant
slobbers, dribbles, drips and drools
sweet, loving kisses
