Sourcing school is a great concept and if I were you I'd take it one step further and offer it as a placement service as well. I think companies as well as recruiters would gladly pay a fee for a trained and 'certified' sourcer.

    Good idea Bill! Thanks!

Hey Maureen, My two cents to the world about you is that you did some work for my firm and as a result, we had someone hired. Thanks
  • Slouch

I am not sure if we can edit comments. I know that you can just hit the red x and start all over
  • Ginnie Bellville

Yeah, I did! But, it's one that I'd already posted on S_U; hope that's OK. I REALLY hope that's OK because I was promised a FREE book from that Canadian guy who liked it so much, but he never sent me a copy!
  • Maureen Sharib

    I sa wit - it's great thanks!

Hey there! Just wanted to mention that Steve explained why he couldn't announce the WINNER of your contest today on Animal's radio show, as planned. I'm sure we all understand the frustrating technical issues with "call-in systems," and in fact, I was one of those "silent limited spotholders" myself! (Had dialed in on my speaker phone-line, checking & responding to e-mails while listening to the entertainment.) Conference call systems can create a bit of confusion, to say the least... I thought it was funny when Craig praised either Heather or Pam, thinking she was YOU (Maureen)! Anyway, I'll try to tune in again tomorrow, and maybe won't be so silent this time... gb

Would you consider joining the Indian Recruiters Group as an advisor? You don't really have to do anything. Right now we're trying to come up with a great story line for a Bollywood movie in a recruiting setting.

"Would you consider joining the Indian Recruiters Group as an advisor?"

    Yes, of course I would.

    Maureen,
You did a small project for us a year or so ago. Good Work. I wanted to add you as friend, and network with you. I'm a full service recruiter in the construction / engineering industry now, but really flourish as a name generator / sourcer. I'd like to pick your brain sometime about that end of the business. Thank you.
