Absolutely! I am a lot newer to the profession, but have already enjoyed some of those moments. I do like it a lot so far at least, I definitely am getting used to the roller coaster up and downs.
Hi, my name is Kevin and I am the operations manager for a healthcare recruiting firm in Los Angeles, CA. I’m reaching out to you because you indicated on your profile that you were in healthcare staffing and possibly open to doing some splits. We have a lot of open job orders and offer a 50/50 fee split. Would you be open to discussing ways we could collaborate from time to time?
Thank you for the invitation- a final thought for you re: hats and recruiting...is that "many are called and few are chosen", ranks right up there with "age is a state of mind over matter, and if you don't mind...it doesn't matter!
Sandra - thank you for inviting me to be your friend on RecruitBlogs. I very much enjoyed your "Dear Katie" letter. Your postings are always original, well written, and thought provoking. Would be interested to know your opinion on WordPress.com as an alternative to Facebook. I decided to post on the WP, but not Facebook. Your thoughts?
Sandra, Sandra, Sandra...why is it that when I am at work and need a good "pick-me-up" I can always get what I need by reading your posts? Thanks for your insight and sense of humor!
Sandra, thanks for connecting.. I didn't even know we could have "friends" on the Recruiting Blog.
I think you followed that I was thinking our friend was pure bull... he was looking for us to tell him some new tools and techniques that he could go tell his clients to use, and then he would charge them big bucks for "consulting" services.
He did reply with "I'll match your 30 years" and I found that interesting, because his profile only says 15.. but, I get too argumentative and sometimes don't really want to waste the time..
Hope all is well in Amarillo - If you ever go too far East on I40, get off at Old Hickory - mile marker 221B... I'll buy you a Margarita at Cinco de Mayo about 2 miles from where I live.
Charlie (Feel free to connect on LinkedIN also.. that's where I keep track of most..

I know that women are genetically predisposed to hate them, but it seemed appropriate to the discussion:
