sm laws here in the US versus the UK and several other countries in the European Union. In the US, you can discriminate against someone who is too young but not in the UK where it is unlawful to suggest one needs a more 'advanced age' i.e. additional years of experience, in order to for example, be considered for a management position…
des Union Congress (TUC) has voiced concerns that there may be a crisis in youth unemployment, with figures released by the Office for National Statistics tomorrow (Wednesday 13th) set to clarify the issue.
While there has recently been a fall in overall employment levels, the body notes that between April and June this year, short-term unemployment rose by 43,000 for people aged 18-24, while as of June 2010 there are 192,000 young people in long-term unemployment.
By contrast, during the same period short-term unemployment declined among those aged 25-49.
And with five jobseekers per vacancy, the TUC is concerned that young people will lose out due to a lack of experience.
"Tomorrow's figures will be a key indication of whether young people are facing a new jobs crisis," comments general secretary of TUC Brendan Barber.

ss and I worked together to solve what appeared to be the greatest threat to our economy in decades. This crisis would most assuredly have brought our nation to its knees in a matter of days – if not hours. We had to act quickly in order to insure our own freedoms and stability of the world economy.

The Amero will be the new standard of exchange allowing for a more stable currency and flexibility. We are joined in this monetary transition by our partners Canada and Mexico. This North American Currency Union is modeled on the common European Union currency (the euro), and is the natural extension of the North American Free Trade Agreement and the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America. (SPP)
While we have been printing the Amero in all denominations for the past 6 weeks we ask that you bear with us while this effort continues. We encourage each citizen of this great country to only request the actual amount of “cash” from their financial institution as is absolutely necessary to meet the requirements of transactions which can not be handled with either credit card or some other means of electronic funds transfer.
Thank you for you cooperation as we head into this great New World Order,

outside the European Union (EU).
This is according to the FT.com, which reports on business secretary Vince Cable's comments that the cap could have a negative impact on the UK's economic recovery.
While he supports the cap, Mr Cable has voiced the opinion that it should be less rigid.
Meanwhile, businesses across the UK have complained that the volume of employees allowed from outside the EU is too low.
This is because the interim cap allocates the number of immigrant workers for each company based on 2009 employment levels - when many businesses had fewer employees due to the recession.
There are fears that companies may struggle as a result, therefore impacting on the economic recovery.
