t and household deficits, while making it more difficult to run a business
My solution, is to do even more of that. More regulation, more spending, more borrowing, and definitely more doom and gloom reporting. What could possibly go wrong?…
to fill positions for those clients. The split world has really evolved since then and I'm certain that it will continue to evolve in a number of ways. It used to be that nearly all split activity was through a split network like Top Echelon or RONS. As connectivity in the industry has evolved with places like ERE, Recruitingblogs, LinkedIn and even Twitter and Facebook the ability to connect with partners that are a good fit has changed tremendously. Now recruiters can more easily find others to connect with and learn more about them to see if there is a good fit. The process of finding and developing the right partnerships has become much more efficient and therefore much more commonplace than it used to be.
Going forward, there is a ton of room for more evolution. As this connectivity continues to improve and the comfort level of more and more people in the industry increases, we'll see more folks partnering in more ways to do more business and do a better job for our clients. In addition to this, the current downturn in the business cycle has recruiters sharpening their skills and abilities so their ability to reach candidates that are difficult to find has grown and continues to grow.
Relationships with clients have strengthened consistently throughout the years and this will only continue. Our future will involve more clients and stronger relationships with those clients. It will involve stronger and more efficient partnerships with recruiters. It's a bright future, and it's really exciting.
