rs in all the other ones. This means she has little chance of breaking free of her boss' shadow and making her name with newer clients as most of them already have a negative opinion of the brand she represents. I think there is talk now of them diversifying into other markets, I've advised her to think about looking at another agency to work with, as it sounds like the one she's with now might just repeat their behaviour in a new sector.
She's concerned that with just a few months' experience she might not get a look in at any other agency and they might think she's a job hopper or been dismissed. I think she'll end up sticking it out for a year or so then finding a better agency to work for. Thanks for your comment Tim, hope you're having a good day!…
LinkedIn the way it was designed to be.... shock horror! Well lets be honest LI make it as hard as possible for you to get to know anyone whilst on the face of it providing lots of ideas to do so.
Unless LinkedIn are able to turn around this supertanker I get a sense that Mohit is right - it will become a CV database you pay to access!

I would ask what the point of LinkedIn is. Is it a way to find info on thousands of people you don't know, or a service to build your network through personal relationships that you can leverage? Thoughts?
ty with, people you worked with in previous jobs, friends, friends of friends, family members - close and extended, business associates, neighbours, clients.....total that up and you would easily be in the hundreds with the amount of people you "know".
The good (and sometimes bad) thing about the digital age we're in is that all this is amplified massively - you can now "know" hundreds and maybe thousands of people in a very short space of time without having to leave your front door. That, my friend, is evolution! :-)

How the hell do you have 500 personal connections in your network? Who has that kind of time to "know" that many people. Regardless if you've ever met them in person or not. That's crazy!
