recruiters find great candidates.
Full story from Forbes.
I never worked with Identified, but do like the overall functionality. I also get the concept in mining Facebook, but to date have had little success in that area for my particular recruitment targets. I do however use Workday daily. Our organization made the move to this HRIS platform 18 months ago.
We continue to add modules and there has been a lot of discussion of moving to their talent management/ATS offering. This move makes the thought of that a bit more interesting. IMO this signals that Workday plans to really make moves into adapting recruitment technology to further their robust offerings.
Thoughts? Any recruiters currently working with Workday? What about Identified? Have you had success sourcing with this tool?
urrently using any of these mentioned tools to source.
BranchOut - signed up at launch and was turned off by spam so left. I have heard a lot of reports that spam issues have been corrected. Might be worth another look.
BeKnown - signed up because I was sent invite....not much more.
Identified - looked up my score (super low because I have lots of information missing) and searched around at a few others. Has some potential, but not going to be making a decision on one's Identified score alone anytime soon (ie: see Klout)
as a person and your company name. Let's take it a step further.
A Brand is an identifier, as in "What brand of cigarettes do you smoke?" A brand is a specific identifier not a reputation. Branding is putting an identifier on a business or a product. Branding is naming something. One does not brand "to" something. One names something then builds or developes a reputation, good, bad or indifferent. The act of Branding is putting a name or an identifying mark on something it is not building a reputation.
How many times have all of us said, "I won't buy that brand of whatever, it's not any good." Change the name and we might try it because the name is different.
How many of the same product manufactured by the same company are sold under different brand names.
It's my take if we could quit messing around with the meaning of words there would be no confusion between reputation and name (brand). So name it or call it whatever you like but build, develop and protect your reputation. A Brand can be changed but a reputation once built or destroyed is what it is.
In my world there are still problems from time to time. Problems did not become issues. Issues are still disputed points.…
to actually speak to 100 identified potential candidates, or conversely, how many identified potential candidates will you be able to speak to the first time out of 100 calls made with proper information?
Good questions. On the first one (approximately how many calls do you need to make to actually speak to 100 identified potential candidates) I'm not sure if you're asking me how many calls does a phone sourcer need to make to ID 100 potential candidates or how many calls does the recruiter need to make to reach the 100 identified potential candidates that the sourcer IDed (sounds like a Peter Picked Pickles, doesn't it?) Please clarify.
On your second question (how many identified potential candidates will you be able to speak to the first time out of 100 calls made with proper information) the key word in your query is "first". If you have 100 potential candidate names in front of you with the proper and correct information* when you sit down on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (notice I don't recommend Monday or Friday calling) morning whose titles/job skills fit the open position you need to fill, you will reach, on your first call-through of the list, maybe...
