Event: MDA Stride and Ride: e & Ride Team will join other Teams and walk together to raise money to fight neuromuscular disease. CAUSE: All of the funds raised by the Stride & Ride Teams will be designated to the MDA Program chosen by each team member and their leader (for example: ALS, Summer Camp, Research, etc…). The money raised will provide hope for those living with one of the 43 neuromuscular diseases in the Southern Nevada area. GOAL: Each team members’ minimum fund raising goal of $85 or more will fund one minute of MDA scientific research. The 2009 Stride & Ride fundraising event will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. All donations are tax-deductible. WHEN: March 28, 2009 8:30AM Registration and breakfast 10:00AM Walk WHERE: University of Nevada, Las Vegas 4505 S Maryland Pkwy Las Vegas, NV 89154 What will you get for helping our MDA Families??? Flu Shot Raised ($30): Will receive a 2009 MDA Stride & Ride T-Shirt One Minute of Research Raised ($85): Will receive a 2009 MDA Stride & Ride T-Shirt and Hat One Clinic Visit Raised ($200): Will receive a 2009 MDA Stride & Ride T-Shirt, Hat and Tote Bag One Wheelchair Repair Raised ($500): Will receive a MDA Stride and Ride T-Shirt, Hat, and Tote Bag and a dinner for 2 to a local restaurant Send a Child to Camp Funds Raised ($800): Will receive all of the previously mentioned but will also receive dinner for your 10 person team at a prestigious restaurant in Las Vegas as well as the opportunity to come on the 2009 Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon and answer phones LIVE on camera! $100 Bonus: Every $100 raised will be good for 1 raffle ticket to go into our Stride & Ride Raffle.
