raffic has been massive, which backs up your thoughts about the preferred method of receiving information. The only thing I would add, is that there are times when the sound track is intrusive and the written word is preferable, ie in a quiet office.

lucky placement just by sheer numbers but they won't be able to produce the hard to find candidates that provide real recruiters with a good living. I actually think that recruiters like the one you described make professionals look good. All it takes is a real conversation with a qualified candidate and they know whether we are the real deal or just fishing and hoping.…
e been recruiting virtually the last 3.5 years and was hoping to find an opportunity that would allow me to work remotely. Any chance your company would consider a virtual recruiter. I have great references and have always been able to produce at a high level remotely or on-site.
Please let me know if virtual is an option. Thanks so much for your time and consideration,
e before. If they could swing it, it would for sure be revolutionary. The bicycle is a tool to change the world. If we use bikes AND travel safe: Life will be better for all.

s has she produced? Flash in the pan?
3) If everyone goes left, you go right; sheep go left, - she sounds like a sheep to me - there is an ever so slight baa noise at the end of her 'Friday' lyric
4) Be Viral! - ok - can't argue here
5) It doesn't really matter what others say, it matters what they do. - Again, good point.
6) And, rich parents...let your kids know their limitations. - Don't really know what you mean by this.…
job boards anymore. The internet has made the ease of applying for positions a detriment to recruiting. From a candidate's perspective, I agree with jb that the lack of employer information makes it difficult on applicants.....perhaps that is because recruiters are posting positions blindly.I think industry specific job boards might be the answer.....but then you run the risk of too many boards.
Video resumes for the most part can not be entered into an ATS which is the way most companies require people to apply.
I won't use them because my clients won't and have in the few cases where i have forwarded one asked me not to do so in the future.
Paper resumes have not been taken over by video resumes and camcorders and digital cameras operated by your next door neighbor or your wife will produce a much less desireable presentation of you than a well written resume. If you don't believe that just record your own voice without video and play it back. It will make most people choke on how they sound, much less look on the video.…
w" offender as a consolidated link. Perhaps Jake from State Farm could be listed as the author.
I don't really think this is an outcome of someone being "new" to recruiting as much as it being evidence that they are simply a flipping idiot. Seriously, do people not hear what they are saying as they are saying it and consider how ridiculous they sound? Ya really can't blame the recruiter bashing when this is what goes on ALL. THE. TIME.
People like this are earning a paycheck, while millions of people with actual common-sense and qualifications to contribute something productive to the world are struggling through extended bouts of unemployment. Makes me CRANKY!!!!!
