Topic: How to handle the counter-offer?: ime benefits (benefits, 401k, salary, PTO, etc) however have been beaten out by counter-offers coming from staffing firms simply offering a few more dollars per hour. Candidates today are looking for the most they can make this minute vs. long term thinking (albeit they say stability ranks atop their list - their actions speak otherwise).
