Sometimes the umpire gets it wrong. 

Sometimes the Client gets it wrong.  Your recommended candidate was ideal but they passed on the interview--then decided later to call your candidate in...only to discover a competitor had just scooped them up.

Sometimes the candidate ignores your advice and blasts away on what they know will impress the employer.  Wrong.

Sometimes...you're wrong.  Sometimes.
