Group think without diversity of thought can become so narrow it can result in ..."our way or the highway".  

IBM made that mistake and lost its global dominance in the computer hardware industry.

So always question authority if you have the grit to take what comes after.  If not -- go with the flow.  We all end-up somewhere.
