Corporate vs Staffing ATS?

Now lets examine another interesting question.

ATS systems what is the value to a corporation versus a staffing company?

Corporations-- some have ATS systems, some don't. Usually the problem is that the ATS system isn't integrating properly with the HRIS system. I have worked on site at several companies. Good to make your acquaintance Doug. Looked at your page and I like the way you mentioned making recruiting more of a relationship experience. That type of philosphy does create a much finer experience in placing quality individuals.

Hi Doug,

Interesting blog you just posted. Though I think you should open it up to comments, even if some responses get a little bit spirited :) You also may want to look at the difference between the perm corporate recruiter and a contract recruiter. Many contract recruiters (at least here in Silicon Valley) make as much as most staffing recruiters, though there is more definitely potential on the staffing side (which many contractors do on the side). Just a thought.
