There are a lot of people who say they are looking for a job. The questions I’d have for these folks would be:
Are they prepared for the job when they find it?
Do they really know how to look?

that will significantly increase commuting costs around the metro New York area - just another obstacle that recruiters in the area need to address.

In February I discussed Land Rovers decision to cut working hours and freeze all pay increases, in order to save jobs. At this time research published by www.recruiter.co.uk suggested that workers would rather take a pay cut than loose their jobs altogether, well this seems to be the case at Honda in Swindon.
