What types of Recruiting Certifications are available? What is the advantage of having a certification?

What a wonderful surprise! Today I received flowers from someone that I recruited. Her name is Karen Lee and I placed her at Mary Kay in a Business Analyst position back in November. I had sent her a card in December just to touch base with her and she responded with sending me gorgeous flowers! I have been recruiting for 9 years and have never received flowers from someone I recruited. This has made my day, heck...maybe even my whole year! Thanks Karen! :)

Today is my first day of having to drive into and work in the office. I have worked so long from my home that I'm kind of in shock. Today I attended the Recruiting Roadshow in Dallas, TX. I learned that to be a top recruiter, you should learn to blog & use facebook and linkedin. I already have a linkedin account and I have had that for years. I will be creating a facebook account later today and I will now try to add blogging into my daily life.
