Are you wondering where the jobs are at?

In this economy, you have almost every major giant company out there putting a hard stop on bringing in new blood. Of course all the headlines are reading "cutbacks", "layoffs", "hiring freeze", you name it.

Inevitably, the job seeker is feeling motivationaly pumped out and is left wondering what is next.

What we are seeing in this downturn is a newer appreciation for us "headhunters" as we are the ones holding the cards. We have been seen as the last resort for most people if they couldn't get into Google, Apple, etc.

See, over the years, staffing firms and the like, have been busy with meeting the managers, working the field and doing what it takes to survive. For some, this has paid off well in this economy. There are still holes to fill no matter what is happening on the outside.

I spoke to an RF engineer recently whom repeatedly sent me his resume until he got a response since from his experience, if he wants to get into companies immediately, he needs to go through a firm such as ours. Was he right! We found 3 managers to send his resume to and sure enough, the interviews are coming.

In concluding remarks, I hope that our industry sees a brighter future and I hope that more and more job seekers will see the benefits in our services.

Amongst people working in staffing firms whom are the eyes and the ears of our respective industries that we service. You go to a website where jobs are posted and your resume will probably never be seen by the right people as you may know. What I'm trying to get at is, since I'm considered a headhunter, I'm instantly labeled a headhunter which has been connotated negatively but now, we're not the bad guys. The ones in the know are calling us first before hitting the streets and mass emailing their resumes.
