RecruitingBlogs.com is for Sale

This is an important and exciting post about RecruitingBlogs.com

I am an entrepreneur and a recruiter at heart. I started out in the recruiting business back in 1993 and successfully ran a large recruiting firm that made a deal a day for many years. I miss it. I miss it a lot.

I have reached a point where it's time for me to do something new and what I really want to do is to make placements. I am constantly having discussions with other recruiters and every time I do, I get this buzz and excitement.

The last few years have been interesting for me. I have watched RecruitingBlogs.com grow and I have invested time and money and all of the expertise I have and I've taken it to a place where a different kind of skill set is now required to take it to the next level.

I started RecruitingBlogs.com in 2007 and I had no idea it would turn into what it is today. I consider it to be one of the top networks for recruiters and HR professionals in the world and I hope you feel the same.

After many of conversation with my family, I have decided to sell RecruitingBlogs.com. This is being done via an auction so that all who are interested in bidding and following it along can do so. The auction will last for two weeks. The starting bid will be $1.00 with no reserve.

Happy Bidding!

You will be missed! The conversations on this site made for some great reading and inspiration (both on how to do things and what to avoid! ;D )
Hope whoever buys this site continues to do as great a job that you did JD. All the best in your future endeavors!

Hey, bro.  I think you are wise getting back to the search business. No other business out there like it. I've downscaled my training biz when half the search firms went out of business (except for virtual or subscription based through my training site, that's still going well). I launched a niche recruiting partner level attorneys for law firms in DC and it's going great, quite amazing. It's always great to get back in the action. www.attorneysearchgroup.com.

I'll let you know next time I am in Toronto.  I may do a fall recruiters training conference there. I have quite a few search firms as clients in Toronto so next time we meet, I'll buy the drinks and we can go find a good card game.

Thanks Scott.

C.B - the semiconductor Industry. It's the industry I know best with respect to recruiting. I think if it sells for $6500 it will be a great deal for the buyer. The auction ends in about 12 days so we will see.

does it come with an instruction manual?
Comment by Slouch on June 9, 2011 at 7:36pm
there is one but it weighs a lot so I'll just make sure the new owner knows exactly what not to do.

Jason:

Interesting. How much time do you spend  on the site per day and what are you generating in the way of GP$?

Thanks
