I do think Bush is pretty funny, sometimes on purpose and sometimes accidentally though funny. Reagan and Clinton both seemed pragmatic with a good sense of humor and although he lost Ross Perot especially used to crack me up.

I think Politics is too complex and dynamic to come up with an IQ test for its participants vying for office of POTUS ... Id go have a Beer with Bush anytime I think he would be funny and lots of fun .. Whereas with Obama Id love to take some notes on his ideas on Foreign and Economic policy serious difficult problems ... Can you imagine a candidate with Obama's pragmatism and smarts and Bush's sense of humor ...

Sandra,
I thought she said her back porch although I wasn't sticking up for her and don't care whether it was an accurate remark or the dumbest of all time. I meant that it would be good to give all of us a way to compare all of the candidates equally based on their IQ which could be done by using a current IQ test of some kind. Additionally, I hate when entertainers want to let us know their thoughts on everything, I just want to be entertained by them. I do think that regardless of her…

I do think that regardless of her credentials Palin is the most abused candidate I've ever seen. Then again, when you run for office I suppose heavy scrutiny comes with the territory.
Paul,
Actually, I agree with you. I was saying if someone is going to have that much power and we (the American public) think that you need to be of a certain intelligence level to do so successfully we should have some kind of standardized test as one way of evaluating all the candidates.
Thank you for reading and sharing your feedback!

As to seeing Alaska, i may have a foggy memory but as i reacall Sarah baby's front porch is a long way from the very northern part of Alaska where on a clear day one might catch a slight glimpse of some of the barrier islands of Russia. That being sort of a fact one would still wonder from what depth of desperation that kind of answer evolved in response to a question related to foreign policy. Scary indeed is the operative word.

I think you need reevaluate the criteria of what it means to Lead the Most Powerful Country in the World. I think though only in America could you have a Bush, Obama and a Palin in that or close to that position... Powerful and scary comes to mind ...
