<p>That is near impossible Amber, thanks for the comments. Yes, sometimes clients get taken aback because we charge 30 - 40% and higher fees, but, there is a reason for that. Certainly a longer sales cycle to closing, and, its simply WAY HARDER to source and find candidates than in the US. Companies need to partner and find Search Firms that are based in Japan who know the market, otherwise, they will face an uphill battle.</p>

<p>Good info, Howard. We have placed a few people in Japan for a client, and it has been very challenging. There is definitely a very specific business culture and we had times that "roadblocks" seemed to come up often - from the client's own Japanese business unit. I can't imagine trying to place an expat directly into a Japanese company, must be pretty difficult.</p>
