I completely agree with Karen. In my opinion, HR becomes a little challenging in times of recession but can never loose significance. From the talent management standpoint, a talent is always there but either not utilized or not selected that fades the color of the economy as a whole. Identifying the right talent and making optimum use by proper management systems can revive any economy facing downturn.
