Hello Kate
Did you fill the job you posted in June? If not, let me know and perhaps we can trade leads...
Perhaps you or someone you know -
would want to know that RCG Information Technology will be hiring an EXPERIENCED Technical Recruiter to work in our Wall Street New York office starting August 2008.
The Technical Recruiter’s primary responsibility is to partner with the sales team to convert each new opportunity into revenue for RCG Information Technology and themselves by identifying, presenting the best candidate available quicker than our competition and gaining the customer’s approval for engaging this candidate. This includes responsibilities for high-level position matching through in-depth analysis of job skills and qualifications to determine which candidates to source, interview and hire. They will also be responsible for requisition qualifications and providing recruiting expertise for our Business Development people

To qualify you must have a minimum of 5 successful years experience recruiting IT people, ideally IT consultants both contractors / per Diems and FTE’s. This person will need to head hunt both FTE IT people and Contract IT. They will be well connected with various technical User groups and with groups in the Metro NY area. Successful applicants for this highly visible role will be most comfortable with cold calls, networking, and Web 2.0 social networking as their primary sources of available candidates.
They need to be from the New York City area and work in our Wall Street office. Their past / current experience should also be working with and recruiting IT people from the New York metro area. Ideally they are working for a different IT consulting firm (or placement agency specializing in IT placement of contractors and FT people) and they don’t have non-compete. They should be averaging about 3-4 placements a month.
