LinkedIn in the National Spotlight: Grandma's Chicken Soup #35

LinkedIn received a lot of national publicity last week while hosting a Town Meeting with President Barack Obama.  That is a PR coup for LinkedIn, regardless of how you feel about the President's jobs package that he is promoting across the United States. Do I think a government jobs package will help boost job growth in the US?  Quite frankly, no.  My point in last week's Grandma's Chicken Soup still stands.  "Innovation is what is going to drive this economy forward and create more jobs."

Strategic thinking and innovation are keys and it is more obvious than ever that recruiting teams have to diversify their recruitment marketing efforts. Job seekers are getting savvier about their search and what information they share online. You have to make sure that your organization is found or finding the right candidates when they are looking online.

The smart money is moving to digital recruiting through social media recruiting and targeted online advertising. Check out this week's social recruiting headlines...
