Experience : 5-14 yrs total experience with 4+ years of relevant experience as Teradata DBA

Teradata Application DBA

- User admin roles
- Space management
- SQL tuning
- Bteq, fastload, mload, fastexport, tpump script development and troubleshooting knowledge preferred
- System load monitoring using system tools
- Workload management knowledge will be a plus
- Understanding of normalization/denormalization
- Knowledge of TSET (Teradata System Emulation Tool) will be preferred
- Recommendation of PI/ SI / JI etc based on datamodel
- Understanding of Capacity Planning and compression techniques will be a plus

Teradata System DBA

- All the skills of Teradata Application DBA featured above
- Knowledge of backups and recovery
- Workload management
- Capacity Planning
- Compression
