Is here anyone who has experience with Linkedin Recruiter Corporate edition. Is it a valuable recruiting tool?

Hi Ralf, Here are a few links to previous and current discussions. Also, the LinkedIn Corporate account is a nice tool however it is costly. It's not the only tool available.

I just posted a LinkedIn Recruiter/LinkedIn Pipeline overview here.

Definitely go with RPS, not with "Recruiter" (which is more expensive).

RPS is no longer available in it's current form and pricing will increase to sit just below the CAP. Even so, not every company / agency is eligible for all types of LinkedIn licenses.

Ryan, yes, I heard; is there an "official" source of info? I currently have RPS.

Irina - yes . There a big definition issue between RPO vs. Agency vs. Corporate vs. "LinkedIn Re seller"

RPO's are no longer considered an Agency or are they considered corporate. Therefore an RPO cannot renew with the current RPS model. The current RPS model is shift in price as well. As a large RPO pricing is in the area of 2K / yr RPS which will now increase to $8,200 plus volume discounts.

The solution is that the RPO can sell the corporate license to their client and make a kick back. Unfortunately RPO's are not in the business of pushing someones else's product for a fee. LinkedIn has an issue here and it most likely going to end up in loosing significant RPO business. The renewals are spread over 5 years though so it's over a time.

Regardless LinkedIn has clearly put a knot in the throats of many corporate enterprises and agency based firms. Soon enough it will bite them. I am not concerned with the fact that they posted a profit. That's for the street and it won't last at it's current model.

I am sure it will change.

Willie Nelson sang "If you've got the money honey, I've got the time".  Linkedin Corporate Recruiter is simply amazing.  The best tool I have used.

@ryan, OK, that is interesting. I wish they would fix bugs in Recruiter before they raise prices.

@Will which feature(s) do you find to be amazing?

Here's the LI Recruiter bug that really bugs me, since I can't source if search is not working.

Hi !

On an older Blog post ( about Aug. 2012 )by Irina at :

http://www.recruitingblogs.com/profiles/blogs/linkedin-a-list-of-ch...

I commented recently as under :

=====

Very interesting observation Irina that 100 % of your recruits last 12 months came via Linkedin - thanks for sharing .

To add to  what Randall asked and your reply Irina, could you also provide some insight on :

a) Did you check later as to how many of these candidates also had their profile on any Job Board ?

b) If you did, any observations on what extra LinkedIn did / did not provide ?

c) If you found any Candidates on Job Board what difference you think in the process/ success rate would have been there had you simply taken their CV off the board and then called them , rather than via LinkedIn ?

Would love to hear further from you/ any else here on this.

I am a TPR out of India . Do not have a paid LinkedIn account but sometimes do get into these comparatives. Have found that most CVs can be sourced via the Job Boards as well, provide much more information much faster - such as Contact Info, Present Salary etc. and candidates can be approached much faster.

However, this is just my experience and one is always open to learning !

In fact I am running a Survey on Effectiveness of Job Ads on "Social Media " like LinkedIn, FaceBook, Twitter etc.. Find it at :

http://mytopjob.in/polls/index.php?sid=86816&lang=en

and have spread it on various LinkedIn Groups of which the total embers would be around 200,000

=============

It will be great if Irina/ any one else here could provide some data as above so as to see what addon LinkedIn really brings to the table.

Thanks, best !

Hardeep

Hi,

That was an older post. As of today, we continue to be placing candidates who respond on LinkedIn. Sometimes we find them elsewhere and message on LinkedIn.

However, 1) with raising the prices 2) with on-going buggy behavior - that includes the RPS that we pay A LOT for - this is getting to be frustrating.

 LinkedIn needs to get their Quality Assurance team to function and do their job. (I am coming from the software development and management background and I know what QA is about from that experience.)

I'd love LinkedIn to continue being successful!
