The trend has now gone much wider and spread around the world.

Before starting your search, ask pertinent questions that would produce a direct match to your client's requirements. Which competitors should you headhunt from? what is the industry average for a similar position? What personality traits are best suited for the position? And last but not least, what advantageous points you would use to sell the opportunity to the candidate?

Once you have the answers to these questions, start your search for your impact candidate. Make sure that your candidates understand the value of your work and how you are matching them with a lucrative opportunity. Yes you may receive resistance from the top candidates on the market. Take it on the positive side. Ask your candidate to evaluate their current employer, then ask what if questions that will help you leverage certian attributes with your client, like the scope of responsibilities.

Now you are fully charged up with an impact candidate, who is willing to proceed, and a client which would greatly value your presentation of a top candidate.
