I am beta-testing a tool called Star Finder (http://www.starfinderplugin.com/) - a Chrome Plugin that scores every LinkedIn Profile you open in your Chrome browser. The score is based on a number of factors: the number and quality of their recommendations, connections, and endorsements from other high-score individuals; the number of their followers at Github and AngelList; whether the person worked for the companies you like or has keywords you care about in their profile, etc.

I find it interesting, but have not figured out how useful it is for my day-to-day sourcing activity. If you are curious, you can join in for beta testing and see for yourself - I would love to hear your opinions. We can also advise developer(s) on what features we would like so the tool is more useful.
