Title: Performance Engineer
Location: Boca Raton, Florida
Job Type: contract to hire
 

Desired Skills/Experience:
 
Strong understanding enterprise and service design patterns and best practices
Enterprise application integration (EAI) experience
Experience testing headless components such as Web services, enterprise service buses and process models
Strong understanding of Web services and RESTful concepts - implementation experience is a strong plus
Experience with performance monitoring tools such as JMeter, Linux Utilities, DynaTrace, CN SOAPSonar
Prior experience with Linux kernel performance tuning
Prior experience in SOA architectures and performance testing methodologies
Prior experience performance testing multi-tenant systems strongly desired
3+ years in at least one dynamic language (Python, Pearl strongly preferred)
5+ years of programming/SW development experience, preferred
3+ years of experience with Java
Strong knowledge of XML required including designing XML Schema in XSD
Basic server administration skills
