Everybody loves a social outing. It’s a great way for employees to engage in team bonding and to just kick back and let off some steam.

Many companies tend to play it safe when coming up with social events. We have put a list together to help you really mix it up and make your corporate events exciting again.

Escape Rooms

Escape rooms are on the rise. They are a great way of initiating team bonding whilst having a giggle in the process. Locked into a room you solve a variety of different clues to help you well escape. All round fun with teams competing for the fastest time to complete the challenge.

Tours

Become tourists for the day and do something locally. Embrace your city! You can do a Viking Splash tour, take a tour of the local brewery or visit something historical. There are alot of attractions right on your doorstep so why not make use of them.

Board Game Tournament

This is a great way to spark motivation without even leaving the office. Ignite your employee’s competitive sides with board game tournaments. This is an easy way to get everybody involved. Timetable employees so they can slip away from their desks at a certain time. Don’t forget to include spot prizes for your tournament winners.

Movie Nights

Many cinemas now have corporate offerings. These include the chance to rent a whole cinema screen with a movie of your choice. It doesn’t stop there you can also have movie snacks included and even personalize the cinema tickets and screen with your companies logo.

Sports Day Out

Round up the theme and take them on a sport outing. Rugby, football, horse racing the choices are endless and these events always go down a treat!

Tip: Don’t forget to bring the camera and get snapping. Social events are great to include in your employer brand when looking to attract talent.
