Source: Information Week
Author: KC Jones

Technology, media, and telecommunications are poised for a significant transformation over the next 10 years because of a wireless social networking revolution, according to iSuppli.

An earlier article by Jones quotes iSuppli as saying that wireless social networking products, services, applications, components, and advertising will generate more than $2.5 trillion in revenue by 2020
He adds that companies who fail to keep up could become irrelevant.

Yep, this is what the future will look like :) Have you read Groundswell? The mediums are changing . . . the devices are becoming non-devices :)

The truth is that social networking isn't going anywhere - maybe how it looks today will change, but people all over the world yearn to connect. It's part of what makes us human :)
