As we all know, 2009 will not be any better than 2008 when it comes to securing employment. I have decided to try to broaden my networking efforts by joining this forum and sharing my successes and near misses. Hopefully, I will be able to pass on employment opportunities that were not a good fit for me but might be just what someone else has been searching for. In my 20 plus years of HR experience I have been responsible for recruiting, HRIS, performance management, and compensation both in a manufacturing environment and in the service sector. My primary focus has been in the field of compensation and this will be my focus as I seek another career opportunity in 2009. I am going to keep my search focused in the Cincinnati, Ohio and Northern Kentucky area where I just moved in 2008.
