ChromeEven as a huge fan of Google's Chrome browser I'm always looking for great ways to customize my experience and use the browser to it's fullest potential - at least for what I do. My real goal is to find quick and easy ways to streamline my job and the job of my team by maximizing the power of various web based tools, applications, and software suites. So when Chrome came out I was both excited and a bit disappointed in what it was able to do versus what I'd hope it would do right out of the gate.

If you're a regular reader of RecruiterGuy.net or my Twitter feed then you know I've stayed more a fan of Chrome than any other browser thus far. With just a few tweaks here and there I've been able to get Chrome to accomplish many of the things I'd thought were missing - but in starting to share those tweaks on my blog I realized they were a bit complicated for the average user - so I've selfishly sat on them but continued to look for "adjustments" or settings that would be simple and easy for anyone. Without further rambling, here are just two of my favorites.

RSS feeds are a major part of my surfing. My first cup of coffee each morning and my train ride home at the end of a work day are both usually spent with my favorite newsreader. Imagine my frustration when the auto-detection of a website's news feed wasn't made obvious to me in Chrome and I'd the itch to subscribe... Now those itchy instances are scratched nicely with this little fix by Ricardo Ferreira.

To get the most of Chrome (and this script) I'd highly recommend hitting the options wrench on the top right and selecting "Always Show Bookmark Bar." I use this default bar to hold several scripts and quick links like BudURL, Social|Median Clip it, Google Bookmarks, Share with Notes and more.

In order to get this little gem running head over...
