Oh, boy! Another day, another site, another blog, another post, another recruiter.

Nope, not JUST another recruiter! This member, Member #1651, aka Maya Walker, is on sabbatical from the 9-5, or the 8-6, or the 24-7. For as everyone here knows only way too well, the work of recruiting never ends.

You know that director with the long-standing open req who never reads or gives feedback on resumes? And the one who's always late or, worse, keeps the candidate waiting for hours? Oh, yeah. What about this... an open req with no job description... a manager who can't make a hiring decision... a job that doesn't pay market...you know, just things that make the life of a recruiter a life of never-ending fun.

Yes, fun! Recruiting is lots of fun. I've had 20 years of fun. What a great bunch of folks recruiters are. Recruiters are the most-loved people in a company, and the most needed outside of one. I'll go back to my desk later. Right now, I feel like taking a long coffee break!
