The sun'll come out Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun!
Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!
When I'm stuck in a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh
The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
'Til tomorrow
Come what may
Tomorrow!
Tomorrow!
I love ya
Tomorrow!
You're always
A day
A way!

The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow. There is no doubt. As I review the past week, suddenly there is a stirring of opportunity. I look out on the past week with sheer knowledge that multiple opportunities are knocking on the door. There is a saying that you have to make your own luck in this doggone world. It is true. Life has a way of testing your mettle, and can deliver knocks and punches, that you never saw coming.

In the midst of such circumstances, the grit and determination to make your own way forward can be daunting. I found such an experience, as I look back on the week that was. April promises to be full of promise. At times when challenges exist that make your blood run cold, you must rise and get on your feet to make the incredible happen again.

These are those times.

Today, more than any other the Sun can come out. Can you see the light resting ahead that is yours for the perennial taking. I set up 2 meetings for my colleagues-potential clients-off of my business development efforts, and see more on the way. When my hours were cut, I ran out and got interviews, and opportunities started coming.

Whether I need to make a move or not, I have turned the tables around to my bidding, just by sheer determination. It must continue. Only one way to go and that is up. The picture is of the mighty California Redwood Trees, they grow tall and proud, and are incredible to behold. They are thousands of years old, and still maintain their beauty and stunning prowess to survive.

We can learn a lot from these trees, rising tall and proud on the California Coast in Big Basin. In my return there recently I found some similarities to these trees, which give you the sense of awe as you stand next to them. If they can stand tall in the midst of challenge to find the sun, then so can we all.

Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!
When I'm stuck a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh
The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
'Til tomorrow
Come what may
Tomorrow!
Tomorrow!

We still have plenty of tomorrow's. If you are laid off you still have a whole career ahead of you. Fight passionately for every step you take. If you are part-time, find a part-time retail job, or do whatever you can to find work in new and interesting places. I may have an opportunity to work for Lee Hecht Harrison. Think about your transferrable skills, I have applied to Sales Jobs, and in the meantime am bringing in potential accounts and setting up meetings for my colleagues to close. The end is, a team effort. I may have a chance to go full-time if I put my heart and soul into everything I do. Or a new blessed door may open. I will be ready to make that pivitol move if it comes. After 1 week of being part-time, 4 interviews isn't bad. And new doors will open when the timing is right.

The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow.
